From its earliest years, MEDIANET has chosen to place people at the heart of its development. Long before employer branding, employee experience and team building became widely adopted practices, the company had already made internal seminars and collective activities an essential part of its HR culture.
The annual internal communication seminar held in 2012 was fully aligned with this approach. More than a corporate event, it was a genuine space for dialogue, listening and team cohesion, built around the values that have always guided MEDIANET: communication, sharing, trust and transparency.
Above all, the annual seminar was an opportunity for every MEDIANaute to have a voice.
Each team was invited to present its expertise, responsibilities, projects, achievements and the challenges encountered in its day-to-day work. This collective participation helped everyone gain a better understanding of each team’s role and contribution to MEDIANET’s overall value chain.
Beyond simply sharing information, this approach helped break down silos, strengthen mutual understanding between different areas of expertise and encourage smoother collaboration across the company.
Communication was therefore not viewed as a purely top-down process, but as an open exchange in which every employee could contribute, share their experience and make their voice heard.
The seminar was also an important opportunity for MEDIANET’s management team to share the company’s annual achievements, ongoing projects, strategic directions and future ambitions with all employees.
This commitment to regularly sharing the company’s vision was rooted in a strong belief: to move forward together, everyone should understand where the company is heading, what its objectives are and how their individual work contributes to the collective journey.
Transparency and information sharing have therefore always played an important role in MEDIANET’s management culture.
Creating these opportunities for open discussion also helped build a relationship of trust between management and employees, by giving teams greater visibility into the company’s evolution and encouraging open dialogue.
At MEDIANET, company performance has always been closely linked to the quality of human relationships and the ability of teams to work together.
The annual seminars were therefore part of a broader range of HR initiatives designed to strengthen employees’ sense of belonging, encourage closer relationships and reinforce team cohesion.
They also provided an opportunity to step outside the usual professional environment and discover colleagues from a different perspective.
These moments helped create stronger connections between MEDIANautes, facilitate communication once everyone returned to the workplace and nurture a genuine culture of collaboration.
Following the presentations, discussions and exchanges around the company’s projects and vision, the seminar continued in a more relaxed atmosphere.
For the 2012 edition, MEDIANautes spent an entire weekend at one of Monastir’s leading hotels.
The programme included:
These activities were not considered simply as entertainment. They were a natural extension of MEDIANET’s HR approach: creating opportunities for employees to get to know one another better, develop trust, strengthen relationships and encourage collaboration.
Through initiatives such as the annual seminar, MEDIANET aimed above all to bring its values to life and make them a tangible part of the employee experience.
The annual internal communication seminar was therefore one of the initiatives that, year after year, helped shape MEDIANET’s corporate culture.
A culture in which technology, innovation and performance go hand in hand with one fundamental belief: collective success is built first and foremost by the people who make up the company.
